Sandbridge - Virginia Beach
Sandbridge Beach contains five miles of beautiful beachfront just south of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and north of Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. These are the "Outer Banks" of Virginia. The area in general boasts incredible natural beauty, from waterfront to dense woods, which gives residents amazing views and plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation.
More information about the Sandbridge area
Quieter and more relaxed than the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Sandbridge residents enjoy a typical beach environment without the Boardwalk and tourist scenes. Homes are primarily single-family, all unique, and varying from cozy beach cottages on the watefront to new, more modern construction just a few minutes' drive away. Other notable local landmarks include Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Dam Neck Fleet Training Center, and Hells Point Golf Course.
